AMI Community of Interest Workshop

Overview

The AMI Consortium invites the members of its Community of Interest (COI) and all the Friends of AMI to participate in a special workshop designed to:

establish and maintain fruitful, collaborative working relationships between COI members and AMI Scientists,
review our progress to date and chart the course of future tools, products and meeting processes using AMI Consortium technologies, and
learn the results of recent projects involving the COI members and AMI Consortium partners, and the AMI Market Readiness Assessment survey.

Workshop Agenda

Our workshop will be a mixture of plenary and breakout sessions. It is designed to foster our collaboration in small groups and there will be numerous hands-on demonstrations. Each participant will be provided with a customized meeting schedule, designed to meet his or her unique needs.

Accommodations

Each workshop participant is responsible for making reservations with hotel facilities of his or her choice.

We have arranged a block of rooms at the Apex City Hotel in Edinburgh. If you register by calling the Apex City Reservations desk [ at +44 (0) 845 365 0000 ] on or before December 24, 2008 and use our conference registration code # UNI0502, the room rate will be £99.00 per person based on single occupancy inclusive of full Scottish breakfast and all taxes.

Fees

The fee for workshop participation is € 350.

The workshop fee covers:

Admission to all sessions of the COI Workshop for February 5 and 6, 2009
Admission to cocktail reception and dinner, February 5, 2009
Coffee, soft drinks, refreshments, snacks, etc.
1 lunch buffet per day
1 copy of the workshop participant binder

The AMI Consortium may elect to waive this registration fee. If you feel that special circumstances warrant your receiving financial support to cover the registration fee, please contact Christine Perey.

The deadline for registration is January 22, 2009.

Upon completing the registration form you may either pay the €350 workshop fee by electronic fund transfer to the account indicated on the registration acceptance memo or send the fee by way of our PayPal account.

When we have received your registration and workshop fee we will send you additional information regarding how to prepare for the workshop.
